Support the Black Movement Leaders Project
BML is currently an unfunded and independent project. It is not registered as its own organization or non-profit and is supported by a Tribe Called Black, New Life II and Roots Up.
Donations to the Black Movement Leaders (BML) Project help us keep this website up-to-date and, most importantly, will support us to continue to meet with living members of the gallery to gather oral histories, as well as to research and interview people about the lives and stories of members who are no longer living.
At present, Roots Up is accepting donations on the Black Movement Leaders Project (via their fiscal sponsor, the Peace Development Fund).
You can make a donation using the Roots Up on-line donation platform or by mailing a check to Peace Development Fund, PO Box 1280, Amherst, MA 01004-1280. In order to be cashable, checks MUST be written out to the Peace Development Fund with ‘Roots Up – BML Project’ on the memo line.
Please note that if you use the on-line donation platform, be sure to put in the notes that this donation is specifically for the Black Movement Leaders Project. (If you forget and submit without the note, you can e-mail us at BlackMovementLeaders@proton.me to let us know!
